“As a real man, it is difficult to continue with the same woman, you need variety. Apart from it, I have high desire for sexual pleasure. My wife alone cannot satisfy me. That is why I constantly visit prostitutes.

“The main reason I chose prostitutes in place of other ladies out there is to protect my family. When I go to the brothels, I get what I want in the fullest, pay and leave. There is no involvement of emotions or exchange of numbers. I don’t want any woman to start calling when I am at home with my family.

“I am a regular customer. I do not patronise one spot to avoid familiarity. If you tell my wife, she

will never believe you. No suspicious calls and I do not restrict her from my phones. She thinks I am a saint.”

Kennedy, an engineer, stays at Maitama:

“I patronise prostitutes instead of other street girls because I don’t want a broken home. Most ladies in Abuja do not care if you are married. What they need is the money and some are even ready to become the second or third wife. I cannot handle polygamy that is why I am very careful in my choice on how to satisfy my sexual pleasure. My wife alone cannot do it.”

Andrew, banker from Garki, said he is not afraid of being caught by his wife. But he cannot stand the trauma of wooing a lady even when most of those ladies are just like the prostitutes. They keep many partners the difference is that they do not live in brothels.

  Tersoo, a civil servant:

“I am working here in Abuja and my wife is working in our state. Whenever I want to have fun I go for prostitutes because I don’t want to hear ‘I am pregnant.’

I already have four children and it is not easy catering for them.”

Jaja, also a civil servant:

“I have been married for three times and have four children from those three relationships. I do not know what is wrong with me but I cannot love a woman for more than two years. So, instead of marrying and remarrying, I resorted to visiting prostitutes whenever I have urge for sexual pleasure.”

Obias, an apprentice at Apo confessed that he prefer visiting prostitutes to having a real girlfriend:

“Is it not that I cannot take care of a real girlfriend but I am still serving and learning trade under my master. I do not want anything that will implicate me. If I have a girlfriend, she may come to visit me in the shop, which is very dangerous. But with a prostitute, it ends there and then.”

Joseph, a student, also confessed he prefers visiting prostitutes to having real girlfriend because he is not yet ready for real relationship and emotional trauma.

Buhari Did Not Ban Food Importation – Presidency

Published

The president of the federal republic of Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari has banned or restricted food importation into the country, a statement that has sparked a national debate.

In a letter to the Editor of Financial Times over its report entitled “Muhammadu Buhari sparks dismay over policy shift on food imports”, 15th August 2019, on Sunday, presidency says the report is incorrect.

On Tuesday in Daura, Katsina state, Buhari had said he has directed the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to stop providing foreign exchange for importation of food into the country.

However, a statement by Garba Shehu, Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, on Sunday disagreed with the interpretation of the Financial Times report over the matter.

The letter reads “Your article “Muhammadu Buhari sparks dismay over policy shift on food imports” (15 August) suggests the Nigerian Government is restricting the import of agricultural products into the country. This is simply incorrect. To be absolutely clear, there is no ban – or restriction – on the importation of food items whatsoever.

“President Buhari has consistently worked towards strengthening Nigeria’s own industrial and agricultural base. A recent decision sees the Central Bank maintain its reserves to put to use helping growth of domestic industry in 41 product sectors rather than provide FOREX for the import of those products from overseas.

“Should importers of these items wish to source their FOREX from non-government financial institutions (and pay customs duty on those imports – increasing tax-take, something the FT has berated Nigeria for not achieving on many occasions) they are freely able to do so.

“Diversification of FOREX provision towards the private sector and away from top-heavy government control, a diversification of Nigeria’s industrial base, and an increase in tax receipts – are all policies one might expect the Financial Times to support. Yet for reasons not quite clear, the author and this newspaper seem to believe the president’s administration seeks to control everything – and yet do so via policies that relinquish government control.

“We look forward to the next instalment of Mr. Munshi’s bizarre and puzzling article series.” he stated

I’m posting this because I’m concerned. I’m Chioma,17 and I’m an aspiring model. I’d tell you that if not of God’s grace I don’t know what would have become of me. I was to go for this supposed @nivea_ng new product advert…

I was super excited the supposed manager(08103876556) called to explain how the shoot would be,told me of the outfit (the normal tanktop and leggings) the location was an Mega Chicken Festac Town.

So as at yesterday evening between 6pm almost to 7pm he called again to tell me the location as been changed saying the models at Festac were too much that my new location was at Egbeda (at Chicken Republic to be precise). So I set out for Egbeda this morning…he still called again this morning to ask if I was already on my way there. I was so happy he was concerned and even said to myself I’m going to be a known model soon💔 When I got to iyana school

I called to tell him I was already on my way to Egbeda he told me to drop at Powerline just after Igando that he’d send his PA to pick me for my measurements,I agreed. I got to Powerline and called him again,he said his PA was on his way. It happened that a young guy came up to me and asked if I was Chioma. I said yes and he said let’s go to the hall so I can take your measurements…he was in a hurry before I knew it he took me to a place like a mini hotel n bar too.. he asked that I entered the room so he could take my measurements.
